I'm not sure if we understand each other correctly. So I'll tell you very exactly what I mean. If you are sure this is possible, then I hope you'll tell me exactly how to do it.
I'm building a marketplace and have the following items in the queue:
1) granery
2) courthouse
3) library
4) rifleman
Now I reasearch industrialization and I want to build a factory in this city at the moment I have completed the marketplace. After that I want to build the buildings I have further down this queue (granery, courthouse, library and rifleman).
So I would like to get the queue (building marketplace)
1) factory
2) granery
3) courthouse
4) library
5) rifleman
I know I can REPLACE the granery with the factory, but then I get
1) factory
2) courthouse
3) library
4) rifleman
That's not what I want. Now I don't build a granery.
So I wan't to add a factory in between the marketplace and the granery. Is this possible (without deleting the whole queue and creating a new one from scratch). I think not, but if you know how to do this, then I would like to know how.

I would like to be able to import building queues. Sort of like in Civ I. When you had a txt file in your civ directory and your build orders set to default or something then the game would pick the build order specified in that txt file. (it was doable, can't remember correctly how it was done)
You can save one queue and reload it again, but you probably know that already. If not:
1) make a queue
2) click SHIFT - Q
3) go to another city and open the queue and click Q
You get the same queue in the second city. But something sometimes goes wrong when you can't build the exact same queue there. Don't know why this happens. It should just leave out the items that can't be build, but sometimes other strange things happen.
