Beyond the Sword: All terrain is pink!

I recently purchased the Beyond the Sword expansion pack for Civ 4 on steam.

I have Civ 4 and Warlords installed already from Steam, and they work just great. However, whenever I start a new game in BtS, all the terrain is pink! I cannot see any details. Even the fog of war is pink. I'm assuming this is because it's a placeholder texture when one cannot be found. The units and cities, however, show up fine.

I have tried re-verifying the game cache, lowering graphics settings to lowest, even copying the terrain files from the other civ 4 expansions into my terrain folder to no avail.

Has anyone experienced this issue? If so, do they know how to fix it? You help would be appreciated. I have attached a DXDIAG file to this post for your reference.

System:

Windows Vista Ultimate x64
Intel Core 2 Extreme @ 2.6GhZ
4 GB ram
Nvidia Quatro FX 1600M with latest DELL drivers.
Sigmatel Audio.

Have you installed the DirectX released in October or November? The 64bit version of the dxdiag, for whatever reason, has never displayed the file list as completely as the old one. If you haven't, try that from microsoft's download center.
Verify too that you have the most recent nvidia drivers for your adapter. The Vista 64bit is pretty caught up on driver software; I rarely have any graphics issues and never have them in Civ BtS. I know there had been some significant improvements made throughout 2007. Your's don't seem "old" but it can't hurt to check.
Let us know if you resolve it. Good luck!
