Binkw32.dll?

Ive downloaded the patch for my version 1.0, and play the world, but it wont let me play the world! keeps asking me for binkw32.dll.. Any help? Thanks.

This is often found when running a cracked version of the game. In any event do a Google search and you will find lots of info on it.

Copied it off the civ disc, then it asked for an ifc23.dll file, found that, added it then it just started giving me an error messege. I give up, ive uninstalled and reinstalled over a dozen times, following all the steps and links to the letter and it always ends up in error. If my computer was better id just go get civ4 and throw this one away after all this. Why cant a patch jsut be downloaded and work.

I actually have version 1.07

Look in the downloads on this sie for the latest patch (1.27 I think from memory but check). That may solve the problem.

1.29f is the last patch for C3. 1.27f iirc is last one for PTW and 1.22 for C3C.
