Any plans to add next war or biological weapons to HR in next update?

I love this mod, but I like the futuristic feel of Next War, I think merging the two would be cool if it canbe done.

HR's Future era needs some developing but I've no plans to merge Next War as it feels too sci-fi for my liking. Certain elements could be adapted, but it's not a priority at this time.

I see, how do you feel towards Bio-Weapons / Missile and Bio-Lab from NW? Like Biological nuke that could reduce city population?

I don't know about the effects exactly but biological weapons are certainly something that wouldn't feel too out of place in HR.

Another MOD I really like playing is [BTS 3.19] Earth 35 Civilizations, mainly for the future techs, like Biological Lab / Weapons and City Shielding, ect., check it out if you haven't seen it yet:http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=248049

Since I’ve played both for over a year now, I always felt if History Rewritten could combine Earth 35 CIVs, future end tech tree, which was borrowed from Next War, it would be the perfect mod for CIV4.

I like playing HR better than CIV5 anyways, lol.

Perfect CIV game to me though, would have the Leader Head changes each historical time period and Palace modification like that of CIVIII’s, easy customized and modding of CIV4, and voice and animations of CIV5.

That was pretty cool, though ultimately I prefer having multiple leader options. Both together would be neat but waaay too much work for the leaderhead artists.

Unfortunately all the fancy animations and voices in Civ5 are part of what make it so limited and difficult to mod. Not just for leaders, you can't even add new terrain. Painful.

The main feature of Civ5 I want is hexagonal tiles - but definitely not 1 unit per tile. Other than that it's smaller stuff like Great People having separate pools. I like the idea of city-states but not how they're implemented. BNW's tourism and trade route systems are intriguing though.

Oh and Natural Wonders, but they're coming to HR in 1.21 ;)

Yea’ I am not a fan of CIV5, I don’t like the civic options that much and 1 tile per unit is annoying, plus other things.

CIVIII & 4 are the best I think, hoping if / when a CIV6 comes out it’ll be a bit of both, miss the leader head changes, one great person per civilization would be fine for me though if they brought that back.

I only play CIV4 as far as TBS, and when I do I play, I mainly play this MOD, it the best! Looking forward to v1.21.

I actually play with the Tiny Earth with 50civs, turn off culture switching, I added a few LHs and Custom CIVs, I know some are redundant, but it’s fun, lol. Like I’ll have an Irish and Scottish CIV using Celts as a template but with different flag decals, and I customized colors, and make Kongo into Aboriginals use the a Yagan LH, just a little tweaking here and there. The way you have your mod folders set up makes it easy to do quick customizing. I just like the end game stuff and miss Bio-tech and City Shielding. If you take personal request into consideration, that would be mine :)

Anyways keep up the good work!

I agree about nextwar being to scifi (and also cartoonish.) How would you do it differently? Focus less on lasers and cyborgs and more on low-key stuff like advanced medicine, surveillance, and quantum computing?
