I don't know where to ask this but, does anyone know if :bts: will be sold low on black Friday?

Kibbles is asking if Beyond the Sword will be on sale someplace on the day after American Thanksgiving Day.
It is called Black Friday... possibly because a lot of stores have huge sales and make a ton of money, putting them "in the black" for the year.
(As opposed to ending the year "in the red" meaning losing money.)
And sorry Kibbles, I don't know the answer to your question, but I would suspect that someplace like Best Buy might have it on sale.

When I worked in the mall, we called it Black Friday because it was a day of doom no one wanted to work.

Black Friday here in Edmonton refers to the day in 1987 when we had an abnormally large tornado for our climate rip through a trailer park and kill a bunch of people.

nonono! I meant the day after thanksgiving!

[offtopic] C'mon guys anyone know?

The day after Thanksgiving is commonly called Black Friday by merchandisers. Many or most retailers make most of their annual profits between Black Friday and Christmas Eve.

1929 also had a Black Thursday (October 24) and Black Monday (October 28). Tuesday was the day the real panic hit. However, to me Black Monday is October 19, 1987. There was a Black Friday in 1869 caused by the collapse of Fisk and Gould's attempt to corner the gold market.

BTS has been selling at local Walmarts here in Ohio for $19.99 for months. I doubt you'll find it any cheaper than that.

i thought the black friday was the day of a big stock market crash.

oh well.

Black Wednesday, happen in Britain at the end of the 80s, 15% interest!, stupid idiots!

Wait. What? Where in Ohio? I looked at a my local Walmart in Columbus, and it was $29.99 like everywhere else.

Heh, here I thought it got the name from the black side of our American soul on display that day in the form of rampant, unchecked consumerism ;).
