Black squares getting worse...

I`ve been getting black squares on some menus and side scrolling lists. Some city labels have errors in the texts. I tried several things like changing graphics AA, etc, but it did little. So I lived with it and continued...

Then I got a Leader to speak I can`t remember whom (might`ve been Indonesia) but his screen was completely black! Funnily enough the Morroco Leader screen was completely fine.

No other game or software on my PC is acting like this.

Anyone know what`s going on?

Verify game cache or even re-install. Might be some files that has gone corrupt.

Edit a few hours later:

Verifying seems to have worked. Absolutely no corruption.

I wonder how it got corrupted? That never usually happens. Thanks anyway.
