BNW keeps crashing

Hi guys,

I downloaded BNW today and everytime I play a game it crashes after about 10 minutes. I don't believe that the crash is specific to a certain save game as I have tried to start 4 different games and they all crash after 10 minutes. Likewise, I can reload an autosave and continue playing - until about 10 minutes in when the game crashes.

I have updated my graphics card drivers but the problem still persists and I am able to play other games without any problems, so I really think it is something to do with the game itself rather than my hardware. My computer is more than capable of running Civ and I never had any issues until I downloaded the expansion.

Has anyone else had this problem? It is very annoying especially as I really want to play a game with all the new features of the expansion pack.

Ok guys, I think I've worked it out. My friend suggested to me that my computer is cutting out due to it being too hot. We're currently having a heatwave in London (its hotter here than Miami and Hawaii according to the news) and this appears to be affecting my computer when playing Civ.

My friend suggested using a program called SpeedFan to control the fans inside my computer. Has anyone used this program before? If so do you have any tips for using it?
