Bomber attack ability

I know it has been addressed before, but I cannot find the thread. Can a bomber bomber be given the ability to destroy a unit or sink a ship? If yes, would this be modified in the editor or someplace else? Any help is appreciated.

In the editor, under the Units tab, at the bottom of the list of unit abilities at the far lower left. Near the bottom of the list is "lethal land bombardment" and "lethal sea bombardment".

I know that some people use it. The problem I find the most is that the n00bs ask most questions in a thread, while the veterans are the ones that go to the FAQ.
