Aircraft Stats Question

I'm working on a table to summarise all military units and their stats, but the last unit on the table has got me confused - why does the tier II bomber have less ranged strength than the tier I bomber?

I got this information from the wiki, then compared it with an IGN table and someone's youtube footage, all say the same. For starters, it seems odd bombers should have equal ranged damage to ground attack units (at least initially). It would make more sense for the tier I bomber's damage to be 45, so I'm wondering if this is bugged behaviour. Does anyone know what's up with that?

Also ignore the interception ability on the ground attack units, that's a mistake I've already fixed lol

I'm afraid I don't have the answer, but I'd love to have the full charts as reference for us here in some way :).
a little wip still but posted it here!

Nice looking chart. I'm not sure why they did it, but it it is correct that the bomber is weaker than the heavy bomber in that stat. Though you are leaving out at least one stat. Here is some information I attempted to extract from the game files as of the most recent patch on Mac.

Neat, thanks! Which stat am I leaving out, I can't tell?

Air units have three combat stats, not two. Combat, ranged combat, and bombard. Fighter type have high combat, attack type have high ranged, and bombers have high bombard.

Ah yeah the bombard strength is the orange explosion stat!

I see that now. I’d recommend putting all three attack values on the same line if possible.

I think the ranged attack stat of the bomber is a bug and it is supposed to be 45. With the current stats in the game, there is no point in building a Trench Fighter instead of a Bomber. Production cost is almost equal and the Bomber is better or equal in all situations.

Either that or the bomber/Heavy bomber ranged strengths are switched.
