I rarely post, but I have always wanted to know something. It seems like Civilization 5 lacks a lot of basic bonus resources. For example, rice and corn, which were both in Civ 4, are not present in 5. Although it really isn't a big deal, it still kind of annoys me how a few resources that are extremely important in real life aren't included. Other than rice and corn, potatoes, soybeans, and pigs (although they are used for truffles) would be a nice addition. Does anyone know why they weren't included or knows a way to add them? I tried to fix this myself, but my attempt at making a "Rice Mod" doesn't work.
