Both Cds wont work to play

I have my system up to date with drivers and everything needed i am running a HD:Intel Pentium 4 3.4 GHz VC:ATI RADEON X600XT my chipset is a Intel 915 P. When i click on the icon to start the game it goes to the initial loading screen to start the program up when it gets to that point it then says insert the correct cd and i am using CD #1 for it. The screen that it fails on is the one before it goes to the progress bar to start the game up before all the intros of a video game. Any insite would be much appreciated
