Well I guess I am still not up to Monarch.
I did my best to try to out Rex Hannibal expanding to 7 cities getting the gems and the Marble. I didn't get enough workers right away and crashed my economy because i had no cottages, and to much maintenance cost.
Built an army of just dog soldiers since I was a ways of from construction, and split my army to take both Leptis (built right in the middle of my empire) and Hippo (best looking border city). In
475 AD I declared.
My attack stalled out and Hannibal countered with chariots and started rolling through my empire.
Since have been struggling to find time to finish Xotm i am going to abandon the seemingly lost cause and start on GOTM 80 since it is a little more my speed. I am such a failure; can't seem to move past Noble, and this looked like a really fun map.
Well thanks for the map KCD, sorry but i am to slow in the head to keep up and enjoy it.
