This deity game saw a clean sweep of all medals going to conquerors: Gold, silver and bronze all went to conquest victories: jeffa in 1545AD, Jovan Kukic in 1620AD, and Zhary in 1685AD. This was an easier-than-usual deity game because of the generous starting area, but it was still deity (as shown by only half of submissions managing to win!) and you had to sail across the sea to attack anyone, which I think makes achieving a conquest victory particularly impressive.
No one was able to pull off a domination victory (perhaps not too surprisingly), but there were several space wins (lead by Jastrow in 1735AD), a couple of diplo wins (shulec was the earliest, in 1530AD). And to my surprise, only one person - deckhand, managed culture (in 1814AD) - I thought the isolated start would have favoured culture. Oh well!
Congratulations to everyone who attempted a deity game, and even more congratulations to the select few who won, as well as those who stuck through the game to the end, even though in a few cases it meant suffering a conquest defeat.
