Hi guys. This is no expert strategy article, just a noble tip for how to play the Celts in Earth with 24 civs. I have only tried it on noble level yet, and I'm not even sure if it will work on prince and higher, but I'll try later.
Anyway, this is how it goes:
The Celts have horses, so to get an advantage in Europe you have to use them before your neighbors get archers. To do this you tech animal husbandry and the wheel, and build worker, barracks and 3x chariots in Entremont. When you have build two chariots Rome will still only have two warriors defending their capital. Attack at once, because you have like 70% chance to take them out with two chariots, even if city defence is 40%. And that was what I did, and now I'm ruling Europe with the Celts. I guess some of you have pussled with it, and probably a lot of you have also have already managed to achieve this.
To get further advantage in Europe i settled Bibracte where Antium usual settle, to get the bronze. With the bronze I attacked Madrid before they got iron, and with Madrid I also got the holy city for my religion, and my economy was soon booming. I went for liberalism and a lot of culture, got it, and then took out Paris around 1000 ad, and then England and Germany.
End result is victory, all starting with a couple of chariots.
