BTS leaders picture problems

Hey all,
I reciently bought BTS and for some reason none of the leaders pictures will show up when they contact you during the game or even when you are picking a leader at the beginning of the game. When you are picking a leader at the beginning of the game it will show the small thumbnail on the side but it will not show the large pictures in the middle. This problem does not occur when I play Civ 4 or Civ 4 Warlords.

Do any of you have any idea as to why this does not work and any possible fixes or adjustments I should make? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

not quite sure what that has to do with anything since i have no issues with running civ4 or warlords but here you go. the images show up in both of those two games but not bts. videos also do not show up. the blue screen behind the videos shows up but no video. i always play with the videos turned off because i find it sometimes freezes the game but the photos/animations of the leaders usually shows up with no problem (small delay but nothing major)

BtS uses a slightly newer graphics engine - so what works on older game versions does not necessarily need to work in BtS.
Your graphics card driver is from 2003 - which predates the release of Civ4. As such it is really
