BTS Modular Unique National Wonders

Mr. Edgecrusher,

when the UNW substitutes the old NW, it happens in the same time in the game?

For instance, you have mentioned that the Burj al Arab replaces the Moai Statues. Does it mean that the Burj al Arab is gonna be built in the beginning of the game?

Great flavor concept -- downloading to have a closer peek!

My two cents: I don't like Stonehenge as UNW for Celts; although the Celts USED it, they didn't build it (Stonehenge was built in the Stone Age, long before the Celts migrated to Britain from central Europe in the mid-first millenium b.c.e.). Contrary to popular belief, Stonehenge was not built by the Druids.

Sorry didn't see this earlier,

Yes the Burj al Arab does replace the Moai Statues. However, I believe I changed the Tech needed to build it to something later in the game. The Moai statues replacements were a pain in many respects, more so because of the timing of their appearance.

I really like the concept, and would like to expand this project as you intended. First with the civs used in many mods (they have proper art, music, custom sounds, LHs). Of course I will suggest to change the ones I don't like...
Replace HRE for Franks, Native America for Sioux
Add Iroquios, Polynesia, Vietnam, Israel
Hungary, Poland, Mexico, Italy, Austria, Canada
and then all the other ones what we have good idea for...

I noticed in Unique Wonders\Assets\Modules\Custom Infos\Specialists\Professor <-what does the professor actually do?

It was a Specialist I was playing around with.
Currently it just gives Generic GPP (5 total), with no preference to what class of GP it produces)
By comparison, all the other specialists produce 3, focused toward their type. I.e. Merchant --> Great Merchant.

I thought it was an interesting idea, but I never went anywhere with it.

Not sure if you have found a building/national wonder replacement yet for the Celts but a number of Celtic wonders spring to mind;

"The Book of Kells"- early hermitage?
"The Stone of Scone" - ?
"Edinburgh Castle" - forbidden palace?
"Highland Games"- Globe Theatre?
"Cornish Tin Mines" - v Early ironworks?
"Millenium Stadium" - globe theatre?
"The King Arthur saga- heroic epic?
Ok, yes these are very random suggestions but personally i would use either the Book of Kells or the Arthurian legend.

Like the idea of the mod sounds excellent, to include this in my own mod do you need to have some knowledge of python?
