BTS User Interface not showing.

Hey folks, thanks in advance for reading. Beyond the Sword is doing something strange whenever I try to start a new game. The load screen lacks the normal intro movie, and the user interface is totally absent in-game. The map looks totally normal, and I can move around, but the blue UI isn't on screen (it's not alt+I toggled off). The game has worked fine since I bought it, but I haven't played for a few months.

I'm not running any mods, on an XP system. The copy is downloaded from Steam and I have already checked the file integrity. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

-also, Vanilla Civ and Warlords work fine, as do loaded games. Just not new startups.

Try updating the graphics drivers for your graphics card.
And you can also try lowering the settings of BtS.

thanks for the fast reply, mate. I figured out that the problem was with my video card settings. Had been messing with them to accommodate another game a while back.
