After installing Civ 4 Sucessfully, when I try to install Beyond the Sword, an error occurs. The installer loads succesfully and asks me to agree to license agreement, etc. It checks for updates and compatability with DirectX. And then it says that it needs to install the latest patch. Immediately after this, an error box pops up saying "Failed to install patch. Installation Aborted!" or something very similar to this.
I have downloaded both v3.17 and v3.19 and 319 always freezes up on me when I try to install it (hence why I removed civ and bts in the first place, to try and correct this problem so i could play multiplayer) and 317 says it needs bts to be installed before it can install.
Any help/ideas/suggestions/ would be greatly appreciated.
