BTS TAM is far away to come...
Firstly we need to fix the vanilla TAM gameplay before exporting it on BTS

BetaTesters are welcome :)
Requirement:
Time to spend playing TAM 2.00 with Civ4 1.74 giving feedback

Subscriptions are open ;)

-- this is officially my application for a subscription --

Diddo for me as well.

However, I cannot use your yahoo groups messaging area or was it google groups? Whatever it was, my firewall at work wont let me in, and my time at home is mostly spent either playing or taking care of RL.

I have no problem communicating via PM, but would rather suggest a tester forum, where only modders and testers can communicate.

Two subscriptions are a poor result ... :( ... nevertheless we are working for the future... :) ...
Stay tuned! ;)

a couple pieces of advice i'll give you. from the 1.99 version. the medium map is a bit too crowded and the huge map is too sparse in civs. i'd remove the tartessians and move the gaul starting location a bit more south. bibracte was in central gaul and this would give the germans a bit more breathing room. from the huge map i'd add the tartessians, illyrians, thracians, lydians, moors (or maure), and kushans (not to be confused with the nubian kush). i'd divide the scythians into the sarmatians, cimmerians, massagetae, and saka. i'd also remove the nubians as they are entirely screwed (as ai) and if anything hold back the egyptians. also i'd move the goths just north of the dacians as this would be closer to their traditional origin. actual origin MAY be scandinavian, but this start is impossible. just my two cents.

Normal and Huge maps stay with 16 and 18 civs since 1.97. I like crowed normal map a lot, so it's matter of taste ;)

Scenario maps aren't a TAM priority now, but everyone can improve an existing map or make a new scenario, and we'll release it as a separate "new testing scenario". Adding new civs is quite difficult now, but we'll do it after TAM-BTS.

TAM 200 beta is ready, but I encountered upload problems on Thamis server.

yeah i didnt expect you to include them in vanilla. but for bts, it might be a good idea to fill in some of that open space if the huge map is gonna remain so huge.

TAM 200!! I'm waiting for the release of a TAM version of "The 300"!

(the flim "300" in case you don't get my joke)

p.s. sign me up for play testing too. PM me here.

Yeah!!! I guess this thread is dead now that the BTS version has been released. The King is dead! Long live the King!
