BUG and Blue Marble theme/fonts with FfH?

I'm just getting around to FfH and I'm intrigued, but it's hard to go without the BUG mod and Blue Marble's fonts. Is there any way to use these with FfH?

Edit: I figured out the themes/fonts, but I'm not sure how to get BUG working since it would overwrite some files.

There is a game option for custom games that lets you use Blue Marble terrain instead of the (superior) FfH custom graphics. I'm not really sure what you mean by Blue Marble's Fonts though.


A modmod of FfH that includes BUG has been released, and has even made it into Fall Further. Here is a link to FFHBUG.

I believe he means the icons for all of the resources. It is possible to use them, but only if you edit the font files yourself to paste theirs over FfH's, and FfH some resources aren't in BUG, so they'll look out of place.

Blue Marble gives you larger text and a sans serif font, and CivScale has that option as well.

I just copied the BM font settings and replaced the ones from FFH2 with it. It's not that difficult. I attached the file. It has to be placed in this directory:

"...\Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Fall from Heaven 2 032\Resource\Themes\Civ4\"

Backup the original file first so you can revert to it later, if you want the font with serif again.

Right, I figured that much out. You can also do it with CivScale and change the window color to something more fitting for FfH (I'm using bronze). Thanks anyway.

Has anyone used FFHBUG lately? It doesn't sound like the version of BUG it's based on works with 3.17.

I haven't played FFHBUG itself lately, but it does state it is for a post 3.17 version of FfH. I have however played the most recent version of Fall Further, which now includes FFHBUG (although this component might be removed in the next version on account of the sticky mouseovers.)
