Bug? Can't get Cultural Victory

I posted this on another forum but could not resolve the issue. It seems the game won't end even though I have 3 cities w/ legendary culture. Playing on normal speed, and I've reinstalled from the original disks twice. Saved game included. Thanks.

FYI I had to reinstall w/ version 1.52. Could never resolve this under 1.61.

Are you sure you didn't turn off the cultural victory condition at the beginning of the game?

Hi.

After a short look at your save ... I have no clue. You should've achieved the Cultural Vic in 1950 or '51 AD. Do you have a save from briefly before that? The reason I ask is that I have gained cultural victories under the 1.61-patch. And I'd like to try that ...

OK if looks like this has been resolved! I had downloaded Harkonnen's memory fix way back and it may have been causing this. Went into the registry and removed all metions of it, now all is well. Hope this helps anyone w/ the same experience.
