Bug in the Middle Ages scenario

I've recenly been playing the Middle Ages scenario (on cheiftan) with France; it seems that every time one of my knights attacks (or is attacked from) directly-vertically above him - the game crashes.

I was wondering if anyone else has come accross this problem.

I've been lazy and using the NoCD patch to save the horrible effort involved in changing discs occaisonally... would this be making any difference to things

Is this the only scenario that you had knights. Is it only Middle Ages, because there was a file missing for the knights, was patched. Make sure you have all the patches.

I play middle ages more than any other scenario and have never seen this problem.

Edit: Actually, the file might have only been named wrong, but was patched.

I just remembered that I'd put in the new Wonnder splashes that were done by Pounder. But doubt that would effect the game...
