Bugs I'm experiencing

In my first game since getting the expansion and things aren't working out well.

I am 220 turns into the game with Morocco have a nice 5 city setup on a continent. One of my new cities will not grow, it is stuck at 1 turn till growth and never changes. The graphics don't complete either with the road, so I just assume it's done. Also after saving and loading the game I am missing tile upgrades, mainly fishing boats in some of my cities. Also the numbers for gold and happiness jump around way to much when nothing happens, trade routes don't end things don't change but I can go from +14 gold to -4 gold over one turn of nothingness. Also my happiness is up and down like a yoyo.

Is anyone else having problems? It seems they didn't test this very well.

In my case, my gold will fluctuate and decrease or increase as a turn passes because an AI civ has either added or removed a trade route to one of my cities. But that's it......happiness does exactly what I expect it to, gold is a little more volatile because the AI can assign/remove trade routes to my cities at any given time (well after the 30 turn cycle) which you primarily don't know about because it doesn't give you a notification.

Not having a problem like you, or at all really just thought I'd share my experiences with what I thought was unknown gold fluctuations at first. But I figured mine out

I just downloaded Brave New World Expansion to Civilization V from Steam and it simply will not open. It starts to go to the intro screen....the entire screen goes black...and then it snaps back and crashes, and tells me I require an internet connection to play the game...which I have. My steam program is working properly, I don't know what to do. 2K and Steam have not replied to my dilemma. I have a Mac, LION OS 10.7.5, processor is 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory 4GB 667 NHz DDR2 SDRAM, and my graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256MB. I would appreciate any help I can get!

Try and delete thr intro movie, back before this PC, the game simply crashed during the intro, and Skipping it via options/ini file didn't help as it still loaded (the logos), so remove ALL movie files from the folder (just remember to re-delete them after validating cache files)
