Building UIs in teammate's territory?

Hey guys, I have a fairly straightforward question. If I'm The Inca, Dutch, or Polynesia, can my workers go into my teammates territory and construct those improvements? I would assume yes, but just want to clarify. Thanks!

I don't know, but I would guess you can't. Most improvements you can only build in your own territory.

In a team game yes you can improve your teammates tiles. Not just roads. You can do all the same improvements you can in your own territory.

So, Inca+Dutch building UI in an Aztec territory would make for crazy big cities!!

Now there's a great thought. Scary!

Too bad civ 5 doesn't have a mechanic to extend this to alliance partners in a diplo game.
