By the rivers of Babylon

Hi guys

I just got my copy of civ 5 and installed it ok...then i tried to install my Babylon addon...steam accepted the product code ok...but when i run the game there is no Babylon in the menu.

So I went back into steam and entered the Babylon code again but it told me I'd done it already???

I've no idea what to do so any help would be much appreciated.

Try to restart the game and/or steam, it maybe helps.

To check that you have Babylon, right click on the game in the library list, select properties and click on the DLC tab. Babylon only comes with the digital deluxe edition from Steam and Direct2Drive, the other sellers included map packs as their bonus. I bought from D2D and did not have a seperate code for Babylon.

"select properties and click on the DLC tab"...yes Furiey it shows Cradle of Civilisation-Mediterranean and it says "All downloadable content is automatically installed and uninstalled along with this game, and can be accessed by playing it"...but when I go into the game Babylon doesn't show up along with the other leaders

So I seem to have registered my code correctly but maybe it's not downloaded correctly???

I'm still at a loss what to do...I tried to register with steam tech support but it seems impossible...that's why I'm asking on here.

Is there anyone who's got Cradle of Civ who can tell me what happened after they entered the code...did it just install automatically for you?

The Cradle of Civilization map pack does not include the Babylon civilization. The Babylon civ is only included in the digital deluxe version.

That's correct, the Cradle of Civilization is a map pack and does not include the Babylon civ.
