No. Never saw it. I e-mailed without reply, figured he was out of hat with the holidays and all but I have not heard anything.

So it sounds like a bit of bad luck with technical issues. I won't criticize just yet. Bought a computer on Boxing Day and it didn't work when my uncle tried to set it up. Friday I go to see about getting it fixed, replaced or refunded...

BTW, did the original Civ 3 have one of those product keys that you need to put in before you can install the game?

I get a nasty feeling that this is yet another PBEM game that never gets past turn 4.

I'd also be willing to stand in if needed. However, I've only had C3C for a few weeks so am still learning the differences between that and civ3/PTW.

I'd prefer to just find a replacement - we are what only 3 or 4 turns into this game ... seems silly to restart.

I'd say that if Provolution is still a no show by Monday we get a replacement and carry on.

Yes, nivekclough seems OK. But since Provolution did not send me the password, it means restart...

Sorry semental, I believe it is your first PBEM and it does not do very well...

But Provolution seemed to be quite reliable, fast and thorough (reports). Then he asked me if he could join if I set up other games so I put him in then he is gone when he is in 4 games, including "Leyte" WWII Pacific that just needed one more turn for victory (his BTW !).

I will send the new planning mail for the resart ASAP.

I do not know when you plan to start but nivekclough is currently down due to equipment issues but should be back up soon.

I will be out of town starting next Wed 1/19, returning the following Sunday 1/23.
