Well, if this starts again count me out.. I can't focus on games that have no coherency to the turns (completely forget what I was about to do etc).

Well, I went along with the slow turns, but then the game just completely died for months. When I joined I said that I hoped it was going to move reasonably well along because I can't focus on games where I have no idea what I did last turn. Between the time I joined and now it would have been possible to pretty much play the full game, and what have we played, 5-6 turns?

Well I don't want to interfere but I can give my 2 cents.
Many PBEMs stop or stall during the holidays. Maybe not a reason to forget completely about them (lol) but anyway pretty common.
This game seemed to be it was going at a nice pace prior to that so you might as well all try to consider it was the holiday break (which it largely was it seems) and go back for the last round.

Send it to cuivienen7 @ gmail . com (without the spaces). The password... ugh. Either ask ironduck for it (via PM/e-mail, of course), or asking LouLong to change it, as it won't be with the save file.

Unfortunately it's late and I have work in the morning, so I'm going to take a quick look at my new realm now, but won't play until tomorrow.

There, after a long day of sitting at my desk, plotting strategies with office stationary, I've been able to play my first turn and email the save to Cuivienen.

I apologise in advance for any faux pas I make, this is my first PBEM.

So... My turn summary for 240BC.

Following the disappearance of Hannibal Ironduck at sea, the proud Carthagine Obliarcy is succeeded by Hannibal Botman.

Botman's first act was to send diplomats across the Known World, in search of new alliances in fighting the Roman State.

Messengers returned reporting the combined tribes of Celts and Goths, angered by Roman encroachment into their land, have declared war on Rome.

Relations have also improved remarkably with the Egyptians and Scythians.

No actions to report, but Carthage armies march again!
