C3C PBEM: Escape from the Zombie Island - Game 2 - The King Zombie

ESCAPE FROM THE ZOMBIE ISLAND 2

In this scenario, Zombies are very strong and if the humans don't unite, it is likely that the Zombies will rule the island by the end of the day. They are so strong they could win anyway!
But there will be only one victorious Civ! So, the human players will still be competing against each other.

Will humanity beat the computer\zombie monster or will jealousy and competition make the day for the undead?


TECHNICAL INFORMATION
You need to download the scenario in order to play. It is highly advisable to play the scenario beforehand in order to get a feel for it.
The scenario is rather small, with only a few buildings ("cities") so it shouldn't take too long.

SPECIAL RULES
- Nukes can be used freely if Authorities have no controled buildings on the island.
- Nukes can be used next turn if >=50% (that means Auth+other player) approve
- Auth don't have to say the target when requesting permission (which means you could authorize a Nuke against yourself!)

Turn 1 :

We looked at ourselves with a mix of relief and anxiety. Relief for still being alive and... humans. Anxiety for not knowing what will come of us.... and of "them".
One of the guys brought his dog to do a patrol as we lack information and are especially cared because we don't know what we have to face. The silence is heavy on the city and even at Mr Tokugawa's house, where people rejoice at his swords collection AND his proficiency at using them, people mostly stare in the void and not a smile can be seen. Mr Togukawa therefore decides these people need an aim and he means to go directly to the scariest of all places : the graveyard. Besides rumors say there might be some useful supplies misdropped there for "real" humans. We are the survivors, we will fight so that our race does not go extinct !
Many of our veterans have killed Vietnamese, Koreans and Chinese and sometimes Somalians and Irakians ! These so-called zombies cannot be more numerous or deadlier Charlies... or can they ?

General Fullbright uses radio to contact his superiors:
Fullbright:"I'm requesting full permission to start "Operation SledgeHammer",over"
Unknown guy:That's a negative soldier,according to our information,it's just a normal riot,we try to get the swat teams ready,I'm very sure that you can defeat the rioters with them,over"
Fullbright:"Normal riot? This people are turning to zombies,and the infection is starting to spread.The zombies are coming from The Company's ex-researchlab and I know that this aren't the best what zombies have got,over"
Unknown guy:"Zombies?Fullbright,Zombies are just stories,what are used to scare kids and The Company would never do such a thing.The Company is the most powerful company on earth and the most generous,over"
Fullbright:"Have you been bribed by the company?Over"
Unknown Guy:"Erm..Of course not,why would you think such a thing?Over"
Fullbright:"God D*mn!Looks like your not going to help us,over and out"


Fullbright,breaks up the chair what he was sitting on and shouted to corporal
Fullbright:Start getting the President to give the authority use Operation Sledgehammer

CEO: It's merely other corporate raiders looking to steal coroprate secrets and draw attention away from their actions with a Zombie Hoax.

It is very dark. The night is heavy but Mr Tokugawa is not scared by monsters of the white legends. He is nearing the Greaveyard. And as foreseen he spots many a zombie around. They are many so he calls for some other courageous volunteers and in-between sharpen his katana.

We got contact by mobile phone with some people in the north. It seems they have zombies too, and nearing ! So these zombies might be more than a handful and maybe in more than one place. Scary, eh ? We have eventually contacted the police and other official services. Strangely enough they are all awake and it seems they know what the problem is as they met other zombies too. Where do they come from ? Why did they appear ? How do they appear ? M Togukawa, who has assumed leadership of the survivors is managing the organization of the people, the food and weapons. Some still believe the police will solve the problem but he knows better. Soon they should train and equip some more people to fight against this nightmare.

Indeed survivors have spotted some paradoped stuff near the graveyard. Maybe some useful equipment ? Anyway M Togukawa think they hare worth grabing, provided the zombies don't spoil the stuff.

Corporate Control: Security forces be on the lookout. A number of these sabateurs have been spotted gathering and heading towards Headquarters. Return immediately.

Security Guard: Sabateurs My foot, they're Zombies I tell you...

CC: Zombies don't exist, and are only used in the worst of cheap horror movies.

SG: Yeah Whatever, but my men report that the Church and Factory are over run with them too.

CC: Investigate and do what you can to liberate those locations.

SG: Affirmative.

Hero Loulong nears the Graveyard meeting Mr Tokugawa :

Loulong : Mr Togukawa, what is going on ?
Mr Togukawa : you can call me Toku-san. I don't know but what we heard is true, they are zombies alright. I met one and finished him off, for what it means for a walking dead. They are slow and ugly. Don't touch them as we don't know how they got it.
Loulong : why are we going after them ? Can't we wait and defend our homes until morning and the authorities come ?
Mr Tokugawa : don't know about the police, etc... We don't know how it really is in other parts of our cities but I have seen quite a few other zombies around and I guess the authorities are already pretty busy. At best we can help them and at worst we are on our own. And I want to see what is happening in the graveyard. If the zombies can wake up the dead we will be overflown with them. So I want infos then maybe we can prevent this.
Loulong : ah, ok, Toku-san.
Mr Togukawa : are you scared ?
Loulong : well, ... yes !
Mr Togukawa : good ! That means you will be careful ! Let me rest a bit then we can try to "kill" the two approaching. At least they won't go near our women and children.

A while back LouLong sent me the Authorities turn, but I don't have the address for the Authorities player. Perhaps if a resend could be accomplished, that might get us back on track...
