C3C PBEM : ODT - WWII pacific scenario PBEM

Very well played everyone...especially Dazz G. I see the difficulty of playing someone who is supposed to lose based on real history playing in two other PBEM's as Germany in both WW1 and WW2. I am facing defeat in WW2 and am definitely not winning in WW1, however I still have a chance in both.

As far as ranking play. Obviously Lou Long's experience with PBEMs and this scenario in particular showed as he did extremely well as both China and the Dutch...however, this is partly because he could conduct joint operations. 2nd I would rank Dazz's performance as Japan. You were simply faced with overwhelming production and cooperation by Allied Forces. It is tough to rank the U. S. and Commonwealth. Personally I think that neither of us did anything spectacular and after losing my entire fleet I would say that the Commonwealth narrowly out-performed me.

Anyways, thanks for a well played game...especially Dazz G for finishing it out!!!

Would be happy to play with any of you again as you are all very reliable players which was proven in this scenario and also in the WW1 PBEM that we are also involved in. Perhaps Dazz G can get his revenge in as Britain in that scenario!

Many thanks for an extremely enjoyable game.

No doubt about it ... Lou played a great game with both countries.

This was genuinely my first look at the Pacific scenario and it probably showed. I smashed the entire American fleet early but couldn't make the advantage pay off ... I made some elementary mistakes as I have never before played a scenario where the resources were so vitally important and by the time I realised my mistake, there was no coming back. I think I ran pretty close to gaining a VP victory and indeed, had the original player of China stayed with the game, I really feel I would have got the win.

It has been a great experience finding such extremely reliable players and i'm glad to say that you have stimulated my interest in this particular scenario, as my entry into the TOS scenario probably shows.

To sum up, I had a great time playing you all and well played

Now i'm definately gonna Germany in TGW .....

Also from my side, many thanks to the players for this fine game.

It was also my first pacific-scen and at the beginning, it looks that Dazz can beat us. But with an great prod-rate and big cash-flow it was easy to build haevy bombers like crazy, to destr. japs infrastructur. I think this was the point of no return.

A great one. I hope we can play some others together.
