Free PBEM Chatroom info! - It appears that the chatroom went defunct around 2005 or 2006, per the Internet Archive, and it required a Java applet plugin to access from the main site, which isn't supported by modern browsers.

Civ3 PBEM Game Registry - Probably not needed given the low number of active threads
