C3C PBEM : "Tanit" - Rise of Rome scenario-based PBEM

well it is not the first time I have to bump a pbem I am participating in, but it is definetely the first time I have to bump one from another page of the forum...

Random Fan - i sent the last turn i recieved to you on the Wednesday 6th October. Not reached me since then. Did you get it?

Yeap I played it and sent to Detlef and got confirmation from him that he got it

OK, cheers for that.

So, either Detlef got it but didn't send it on (or a fault meant it wasn't sent, although Detlef tried to), or Romeothemonk has it.

I have not seen the file. I also have been out of town for a few days. Please resend it. I have not seen this game in over a week. I usually do not send a gps, as the elapsed turnaround on my end is under 10 hours.

The File I got is one I have already played and sent. I resent this file (played) to Oblivion last night.

I sent to Random Fan and i think it is the latest save, not just the replay. Either that or my memory of the last turn is very bad.

I am going to play my turn now, and if i have an oppurtunity for razing, i won't take it. I think it is better to allow abandoning, but no razing.

I like no razing. Razing makes it really hard for Rome or Greece in the long run. And for me in the short run.

We may have a problem here. But wait, where is Hannibal? Here he comes. Hannibal is much more of a man than Ceasar.
Here is the Proof

All in all, I lost 4 elephants, he lost 4 legion 2's. His stuff was more expensive, and 3 were in an army. I am still golden aging, he should be ending his.
I will lose my capitol, but my corruption will go down. Interesting how that works. Capitol will move towards my more procutive cities, i.e. the huge mass of cities over by spain.
Plus he has the difficult choice of trying to storm my capitol, which features vet troops fortified on a hill with walls, or chasing down hannibal who is on a hill and can retreat. Interesting decisions. Tune in next week to see his decision. :mischief:

Sent 240BC.
Hannibal's army destroyed with the loss of one Legion I.
Carthage stormed for no loss even after all 4 catapults missed.
Marsala flipped to Carthage, but it can be taken back easily enough.

:goodjob: . Nice playing guys, thanks for the screenies! :scan:

Geez this happens to me for the second time...
