C3MT tool not responding in Win7 Any save game editors ?

It used to work but now versions 1.26 and 1.28 of Civ3 Multitool not working with the not responding error.
I use it mainly to edit save games. Tried using the Quantilus editor for this but the error I get there is that the edited save game file is invalid when I try to open it in C3C....
Any other working same game editor for C3C ?

I've got the same problem under Win10. I also have problems with various java based tools, such as the Pedia editor. Is there any solution to this?

I can confirm that my editor is not intended for editing save games, only for extracting BIQ information from SAV files in the event that the original BIQ is lost and you wish to play the scenario again from the beginning. It may eventually include some SAV compatibility, but that has been on the back burner for years, in part due to concerns over not interfering with the HOF/GOTM competitions. Although I did work out how to avoid that with the staff this fall, so it's now possible that it may expand to cover that in the future.

I'm afraid I've seldom used Civ3 tools outside of XP, so I can't comment a whole lot on post-XP issues . Although if my editor is among the Java-based tools that are having issues on Win10, Ares, I could take a look at that and see if I can fix it. I use 8.1 on my desktop instead of 10, but that may be close enough, and even if not, error messages may be enough to identify the issue.

i was convinced I had successfully used your utility to change the current turn previously but maybe it was with a different one. in anycase the utility not working at all now as I get "not responding" after I initiate.
