[Civ2] Can Chromebook be used to play Civ II MPG?

I've lost two laptops running Win 7 in less than a year. I bought a pretty good Asus Chromebook for general use. I know, but it really seemed the best option. But my Civ II itch needs to be scratched and it would be easiest if I could create an environment it will run in on the Chromebook. I went for the 5i processor in case the 3i wouldn't be powerful enough. I already want to run full Xcel so I need a Win environment for that. Anyone have tips for how to do this so Civ II will be happy? Everything I read makes it clear you CAN now run Win programs on Chromebooks, but details on just HOW are sparse.
