Can we mod unique units a bit (due to swords getting buffed)?

I am not a modder by any stretch. I was wondering if there was a way to buff the uniques from the Classical era that some civs have that replace swordsmen?

I'd like to either reduce the cost of Legions, Zerkers, Kongos' or buff them up in strength so that they are either cheap and effective or same cost but stronger.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction? I'll mod the direct ini file in my game directory if needed.

Thanks!

Here you go.
Your first mod.
Unrar into ...\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Mods\

Some quick tutorial inside of the files.
Open them with text editor and read about what is what and how you can mod the game.

Inside one of them I give directions to the original gamefile that you could change but i strongly recommend using mods to mod stuff. Thats what they are for. And if you change original file it may be overwritten by future game update/patch without asking for permission. This would mean loosing all your work. So use mods!

Just see what you can learn and buff the units the way you want it. Once you are satisfied with your changes run the game and see your mod from main menu "additional content" section (just to see it is arleady enabled).

Sorry if you feel this little too "child-talking" but since you've written youre not into modding I wanted to make it as clear as possible.
