After just afew regenerations of the map, this baby came.

Now, theres like FOOD all over the place. What you think, irrigate it all or maybe cottage the floodplains for some hybrid economy?

Build the Moai statues for the water tiles, and put workshops on the land tiles, and you could support a massive amount of hammers

No such thing as too much food. Think of all the specialists that can feed--it is beautiful! And considering the stone/hills/forest, not to bad for production, either.

There is the possibility of growing too fast and outpacing the ability to keep people content though...

Pessimistic but true none the less, I remember a conversation we had about having great starts that end up being lost games because of issues such as that, and others. :D

Kickass start indeed. Too bad I ended up on a semi-small island half covered in jungle (guess it balance it out. :)) Might be isolated aswell, there are spots of landmass of the coast I havent explored yet.

 wow, you couldn't get better start even with WB; stone and enough trees for the pyramids, enough food for a LOT of specialists and beeing philosophical for even more GP. what more do you want?

I'm really sorry you don't have enough Forests man....

post your save :)

Set up a Sid's Sushi later on and watch your culture and food grow... I use Cereal Mills though because I get more inland resources than seafood...

Just whip, juggle citizens around and build worker/settler while waiting for whip-discontent to settle. When you got Hereditary Rule you are set. When you got Beurocracy you got the worlds most powerful city. That rocks :king:

That would be an awsome city for OCC!!

A phi/ind leader!

Of course you can have too much food - if you don't know how to manage your growth. In the long run though, if you're playing your cards right, I don't think too much food can be a bad thing.

you could have moved your capital 1 tile west and split food between 2 cities. You should have built west anyway.
