cancelling trade agreements

When a trade is agreed with another civ, the message "this deal may be cancelled peacefully after 20 turns" is displayed.

Exactly how do you cancel one of these deals??? I want to cancel them but can find no documentation on it...

Also is there any way of finding out how many turns are left of the 20 or must you count manually??

You can find out how many turns left by clicking on the active link in the negotiation scree. The number in parens is the number of turns left.

Regarding canceling the treaty after 20 years, normally the AI cancels on my rather than the other way around. But I would assume that you would go to the negotiation screen. Click on active, click on the deal and then take it off the table.
