Cannot Load BTS

Comes up with a graphics error relating to 1280x960. I was playing ROM and I changed the graphics settings in the game options from 1280x1024. What do I have to do to correct this, and why this setting causes this problem?

you can set the graphics settings in the civilizationIV.ini - try doing that.

Looked in there, could not see that setting, so I uninstalled and re-installed BTS. Strange thing ROM is faster!
