I have Civ5 patched to the latest version, and a brand-new computer on which the vanilla game works perfectly. I can use mods, and the game also works perfectly. However ...
When I save the game and leave it, and then attempt to load the last saved game, it refuses to load, and I'm left with having to alt/ctrl/del out. If I go into the installed mods and deactivate them, the saved game will then load ... except without the mods.
The only mods I'm using, presently, are Legions, Economy Mod, and Queen of the Iceni.
Is there a simple fix for this, or is more information about my computer needed?
