Cannot load saved games.

Hi there!
Please forgive my language - english is not my native one.
I have browsed the forum but couldn't find any solution.

The game is: Civilization IV (Warlords).
When files containing saved games growing bigger than 250 - 300 kB I cannot load them into the game. The message is: "You are attempting to load a corrupt save file". These files ARE NOT corrupted - occasionally I am able to load them. I know that some players had the same problem but I wasn't able to find any answer how to resolve it.

could you upload a save - just so that I could check the file is not corrupted?
also what patch version are you using?

Thanks for reply. I will upload the saved game as soon as possible (tomorrow?). I have bought the last Civ IV version - Beyond the Sword. The problem have disapeared apparently, but yesterday, when the save file became bigger, it started again.

Stupid question, are you trying to load a BTS save game in warlords? I've never tried, so I don't know, but it might cause that.

Of course not! I have started a quite new game, playing BTS...
