This is tricky to describe,, but if you have more cities than will fit in the list to the left of the screen when trying to post a governor, you will see what I mean immediately.
You can literally only see the first few cities in the list, and once you get past the last visible city, the cursor seems to keep scrolling down but - and this is the bloody issue - you cannot see what city is currently selected unless you press the X button at which point you get asked for a confirmation.

Does anybody at 2K/Firaxis actually bother to test these games on PS4 at all?
Given the huge numbers of bugs in another 2K game (PGA Tour 2K21) I do wonder.....even a quicj run-through would have found this bug.

Ever get the feeling you've been cheated??

This happens on xbox too.

save, exiting the game, and then reloading the save fixes it, at least on xbox

I hope it works for you too!!

That depends entirely on how far along you are - once you get past around 200 turns, reloading any saved game crashes consistently here.
I just lost a game only the other day as it refuses to reload, no matter what I do even though saved properly. All I get is a blue screen crash, with the pointless option to send a crash report that nobody ever pays any attention to.

Wow that is brutal! I rarely play past turn 250 or so because by then it’s often obvious who is going to win

Whilst I may well agree with that statement, it's kinda not the point.
I was hoping to use the PS4 as an 'A-Z Challenge' platform, but it's not possible as you literally cannot finish a game without going into Groundhog Turn mode, and Firaxis do not seem to care or even appear to beta test their NFP on the consoles, otherwise they would have spotted this a long time ago.

Ya this is unacceptable, like they owe you a refund if the game is unplayable

I mean I don’t play the late game because it gets so tedious and all of the challenge is gone.

Old World caught my interest because it is a Civ style game that focuses on the ancient/classical era only
