Can't change victory settings

I try to change the game limit settings from 540 turns to domination victory, So I click on the domination victory and it asks to me to enter in the percent of land I want conquered. I do so, and hit the little circle but it just takes me back to the game limit settings screen. If I cancel from that screen the settings go back to 540 turns. I've tried all the other settings too and none of them work. And yes, I have allowed domination victory as a method of winning.

Any help?

Instead of pressing "circle", when you have edited the setting and it takes you back to the "Victory Alteration" menu, press "x".
