Can't Delete Saved Games

Ok, this is pretty weird.

My game runs fine. No worries there.

However, since the newest patch, I decided to clean up my old saved games that I won't be resuming. However, when I try to delete them in Windows Explorer, Explorer crashes. I've tested and checked, and ONLY the Civ4 Saved Games files cause this crash. Explorer crashes and exits if I:

1) Right click on any Civ4 saved game file.
2) Click on any Civ4 saved game file and hit the 'Delete' key.

Any ideas what's up with this? I've also tried to do it via the command prompt, but had no success. When I've done this, it says it can't find the file, although it's clearly listed using the 'dir' command. I am able to copy the files using wildcards to another directory, but attempting to right click on them with Explorer results in the same crash in the new directory as well. I can then delete the files by deleting the entire folder.

Double clicking on the saved game file causes Civ4 to launch and then load the game.

Ok, lots of views, no replies.

Can anyone confirm or refute this problem on their system? I'd appreciate it if someone could try to delete saved game files & let me know if you encounter the same problems as I have!

Just went in last night and deleted out all my old "Saves" and "Auto Saves." I had no problems with them being dleted. Might be something with your computer configuration.

No prob for me either.
