can't find uninstall

When I bought the game, I had a problem with installation that usually happens with my comp so I didn't worry, but when I got on the game thinks it has already installed and when I start I get

"Failed Loading XML file Assets//XML\GameInfo/CIV4PlayerOptionsInfos.xml."

I thought of installing that and went to the Firaxis games menu but saw no uninstall option and I right-click everything I saw and went into the Civ folders and looked for the option butt to no avail. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Navigate to c:/program files/installshield installation information (its a hidden folder)

Then search for a folder named {CFBCE791-2D53-4FCE-B3FB-D6E01F4112E8}

Rename it

Then install the game again frome the setup file on the disk.
