Cant get air transport into carrier

I'm able to load an army (basically, a transport) into a transport. So it must only apply to aerial transports?

I believe Armies are the only exception to this rule. However, you still can't load a transport unit onto the Army :)

I once tried giving my modern armor a transport capacity of 1. And I can't load modern armor into the army until I remove that transport capacity :D

I have no idea why you can't rebase it to the carrier. Are there air units already on it? If so, how many? I think you can only put 4 on at a time. Otherwise, I really can't help you.

In the editor, it's possible to add load and rebase as actions. The question is, would it work for air transports and carriers?

Only one way to find out.

Can a helicopter rebase to a carrier?

If so, then your air transport should be able to as well. If not, I would guess that there is some sort of hard-coded prohibition against transports loading onto other transports except in the case with armies as mentioned above.

Adding the load and unload abilities doesn't work. I hav tested several methods, and by now I'm completely sure that air transport units can't be loaded onto other transport units. I think the rule may be different for land or sea units, but I'm not sure.

you cant put a unit that has unload capability into another unit that also has unload capability....air or ground or sea...
so..

if u made a mech inf able to load ppl, you cant put it into a transport ship or a plane that can load stuff

by same token, you cant put a plane that can load ppl into a carrier....

thats prob done so you cant transport a gazillion units with only 1 unit by stacking them up
