Can't get basic Jasper Kitty to load...

Followed instructions. Checked that it shows up in mod list and is enabled. No Jasper Kitty leader in new game. Went back to this as none of the example I've downloaded work either.

I had crap all luck with JasperKitty myself, and wound up walking away for a while (months) to clear my head. Honestly, that template has *so much* stuff in there that I don't know what to change and what to ignore. It was frustrating.

) worked better for me, but not perfectly (I have a thread on here where LeeS has been helping me a lot, reviewing that might help you). My leader ability now works!

LeeS has a PDF guide that I have downloaded but not gone through yet, and per some other threads on these forums it looks like he's in the middle of an edit, but it's probably still really useful. I'm going to check it out for assigning art assets, because while some video guides had helped get the assets created (thanks in large part to my wife), in my previous attempt I was never able to get the mod to load once I started trying to attach assets.

I have not even begun to tackle art assets. You are better off looking through the tutorials and references for art-making made by Deliverator, Leugi, etc., when working on art assets and using the Asset Editor (though from my understanding the Asset Editor is misbehaving for a lot of people at the moment).

What you posted is a modbuddy project, not a mod.

FWIW, You can get Jasper Kitty to work with R&F and GS without incident by directly editing the NewLeader_Config.xml file. This is what we are given in the Player section, and it works fine for Vanilla. You need to create that block twice more: once for Rise and Fall (<Domain>Players:Expansion1_Players</Domain>) and again for Gathering Storm (<Domain>Players:Expansion2_Players</Domain>). Just Copy paste and change that first line.

You'll also have to do the same for the PlayerItems section. But this is the Answer!
