Cant install pirates

i got pirates recently and i was going to install it, however i keep getting a message everytime a click install that _isF1.tmp has encountered a problem and has to close, and therefore stopping me from installing the game. Is there any way to overcome this as its doing ma head in? My pc is up to date and way over the minumum specs as it can easily play civ 4 lol but i really need help here cos i payed gd muni for it and cant take it back. Cheers for the help.
