cant load BTS

i had a big issue earlier trying load Civ 4 kept getting "insert correct dvd-rom" error. So i bought Civ 4 Complete and now i can run Civ4 but get the the error trying to run BTS. have checked compatibility and am running as administrator.

is there a patch i'm missing ?

The latest patch for BTS 3.19

As you mention compatability mode I guess you are using Vista or W7 so to patch BTS to 3.19 download it fresh from here and install the patch by right-clicking on it and choosing run as administrator. Most people do not need to run it in compatability mode, so you may be able to remove the compatability check, but some do still find it helps.

game ran for about 15 minutes then closed, i may have to run w xp sp3 compatibility. if i get the same error i'll post back

i have downloaded the bts update and my game ran fine. but in the last 2 days my games crashes. first my screen goes black- a beeping sound in the background is heard- after a second the screen comes back. In a few minutes the program crashes and i get the error message the the game has closed and windows is searching for a solution.

running windows 7 ultimate AMD athlon II x4 620
Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT driver 8.17.12.5896

is the GPU the issue? i was going to update soon as i have Civ V on my Christmas list

still having the crash problem - i did update nvidia driver today 260.99 but still have the game drop to the taskbar and later the game closes with a message that windows is looking for a solution. this has been happening for 2 weeks now and even with a couple of reinstalls
