Can't Load Savegame due to Mods not being installed

Hi all,

I have a problem I created myself, but I'm hoping someone might be able to help.

I started a game with a few mods installed... luxury toolbar and the Legendary Earth Mod. Neither Mod makes any significant gameplay changes.

The problem: I was messing with the Mod browser and deleted the Legendary Earth Mod because I wasn't using it. The game in question used a standard continents map. It didn't use the LEM. So I deleted LEM and then went back to play my game. But I couldn't load the game because the game tells me "Not all mods are installed" or something to that effect .

SO... I go back to the Mod browser to reinstall LEM. Problem is, LEM is now at version 0.5, and I was running 0.4. With 0.5 installed the game still won't load my save file .

I guess I would either need to find LEM version 0.4... or maybe I can hack the savegame file so it doesn't think any mods are installed? This would have the added benefit of allowing me to get the Steam achievements for this game (I didn't know you couldn't get achievement with any mods installed...oops).

So is there any solution for me? Much thanks!

I don't think there's an option to change the saves.
Did you consider asking the mod creator if he maybe has an old version still somewhere on his harddrive?
