When playing a LAN game with 2 people my friend and I can join the same team with the AI on separate teams and play cooperatively. However, when we go online and try to do the same thing we cannot start the game. It tells us that all players cannot be on the same team.
Is there any way around this? Being able to get together for LAN play is rare for us, and playing coop is something we've been doing since Civ 3. We can play on separate teams, but it's not as fun that way since we don't share anything and we can't do a shared victory.
