Ok so since i bought the game (about 2 weeks now) i am unable to play multiplayer.
Basically i wanted to play with my m8 some multiplayer so he made a game and invited me i join, and whenever he hits start game button or if we w8 in lobby about 2mins , it says to me that he disconnected and to him that i disconnected, if he starts the game he gets in it and it says i dced, i am still in a lobby with ai replacement for my friend and chat saying he disconnected. I tried joining public games as well and i have the same problem, my friend is able to play though so its pretty much just me. I tried hosting the game myself same problem occurs.
This is the list of things i tried to fix so far:
1.Reinstall
2.Forwarding steam ports
3.We tried playing via lan (Hamachi - Didn't work b4 and after it was installed so software is not the problem)
4.Computer rest obviously doesn't work since i have the same issue for 2 weeks now
5.Verify steam files doesn't work as well
6.Firewall is down ofc, i tried running game dx9 and 10 nothing hlps.
7.I am sure there is smth else i can't remember now
I searched google for solutions and found none, all i found is that there are ppl with same problem but no1 knows how to fix it. Guy told me this is biggest Civ forum so trying my luck with you guys, its pretty rage i can't play with my friend after we paid for a game
